The FR12C Electronic Flow Switch is a versatile thermal dispersion sensor designed for reliable flow monitoring in liquid and gas systems. Ideal for applications like pump dry run protection, coolant flow control, and industrial process monitoring, it features no moving parts for minimal maintenance and long service life.
Product Principle:
Based on the thermal principle, the sensor uses two resistors: one heated (detection resistor) and one unheated (reference resistor). As the medium flows, heat is carried away from the detection resistor, changing its resistance. The difference between the two resistors is used to determine flow velocity, providing accurate on/off switching signals.
