The Hollysys AFM 2000 Series Metal Tube Rotameter is a reliable, easy-to-use instrument designed for precise measurement of liquid and gas flow rates in industrial processes. Featuring a robust metal tube construction and a float-type sensor, it offers stable performance in harsh environments, including high-pressure, high-temperature, or corrosive conditions. The series includes multiple models for diverse applications, from chemical dosing to pipeline monitoring.
Product Principle:
The AFM 2000 operates on the variable area principle: as the fluid flows upward through the tapered metal tube, the float rises to a position where the upward force from the flow equals the float's weight. The float's position corresponds to the flow rate, which is visually indicated on the graduated tube. For industrial automation, optional electrical transmitters convert the float position into 4-20mA analog signals or digital outputs.
