The PT100 Thermal Resistor is a high-precision temperature sensor designed for industrial environments. It features a platinum element (PT100) that exhibits a predictable change in electrical resistance with temperature, enabling accurate temperature measurement across a wide range. The sensor is built with a stainless steel 316L probe for corrosion resistance and durability, making it ideal for harsh conditions in manufacturing, energy, and HVAC systems.
Product Principle
Operating on the Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) principle, the PT100 sensor utilizes a pure platinum resistor whose resistance increases linearly with temperature. The resistance value at 0°C is 100Ω (PT100), and it follows the DIN IEC 60751 standard for reliability. The sensor converts temperature changes into electrical signals, which can be easily read by instruments or control systems.
